Forticlient VPN Connection
VPN Connection and Remote Access
Now that we have both the FortiClient VPN Application and the Remote Access settings, we can proceed to do the following:
All these steps are required to work remotely
- Start the VPN Connection
- Find the FortiClient VPN icon on the desktop or in the start menu.

- Then click on SAML Login to start your VPN connection for Remote Access

- You will be prompted to log in using your McLeod Law credentials; in this case, use your email address and computer password. Remember to approve your login with MFA using the Microsoft Authenticator app.

- Once you login you will get a notification that the VPN connection has been established.

- Now open the Remote Desktop connection shortcut we created on Phase II and “Connect” to the remote desktop as usual. Remember to verify your login using the Authenticator App.
